Stay on campus
During the Summer School, you will stay in our halls of residence next to the South Kensington Campus in central London. Staying on-site means you’ll have the chance to experience life in real student halls, and be just a short walk to classes and a range of other campus facilities.
Our campus is in South Kensington in the heart of London, the best student city in the world. Here you will be surrounded by some of London's most famous cultural treasures, including the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and V&A Museum, all of which are less than 10 minutes' walk away.
You will share a twin en-suite room with another Summer School student of the same gender or, in some cases, a single room.
View a virtual tour of the twin bedrooms.
All rooms are en-suite and have a safe per student where small valuables, money and passports can be stored.
- Linen and towels will be provided and there is a laundry room onsite should students wish to wash clothes. Laundry credit can be purchased through a mobile phone app.
- Hairdryers can also be hired for a deposit of £10 which will be refunded once the hairdryer is returned.
- The Eastside-Southside residential complex provides a convenience store should students wish to buy any snacks.
Safety and supervision in halls
A residential team of Pastoral Mentors provides round-the-clock support and supervision in halls of residences to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students.
In addition, all halls of residence have a swipe card or fob entry, CCTV and 24- hour manned security officers.
The programme fee includes three freshly-prepared meals per day, served in one of our on-site catering outlets.
For full day trips, you will be provided with a packed lunch; some meals may also be provided off-campus on evening excursions. We can cater for a range of diets with advance notice.
